This is a stunning, superb late Neoclassical tea caddy with an architectural canted lid. Dates about 1800. In carefully chosen fame mahogany veneers, with stunning hot sand process inlays. The panels on all side are carefully framed with contrasting mahogany timber. A rare, remarkable object.
